Subject :  Enhancement of honorarium to Inquiry Officer / Presenting Officer.

Respected Madam,

      The 38th All India Conference of All India Association of Inspectors and Assistant Superintendents, Posts was held at Ahmedabad on 7th and 8th February 2014 and above subject was discussed in detail. After discussion, following resolution was passed unanimously by All India Conference.

“The orders enhancing the honorarium of IO/PO of Rule 14 cases have not become operative in view of the limit imposed on the annual honorarium payable and also on the powers of the Chief PMG to sanction honorarium. As such, the 38th AIC unanimously resolved to request Secretary (P) to cause necessary action to enhance the annual limit of honorarium payable and also to extend the enhancement for IO/POs of Rule 10 cases of GDS also”.

      It is therefore requested to kindly take appropriate action in respect of above resolution and arrange to convey the necessary approval at the earliest.
