A post office was inaugurated at the new domestic terminal of Chennai Airport on Monday. The facility, with two kiosks for internet browsing, can be accessed both by residents of the neighbourhood and passengers near the check-in area.
Postmaster General, Chennai city region, Mervin Alexander, said that several facilities, including postal life insurance and postal identity cards will be offered here. Photocopying and fax facilities will also be available. The post office will function on Sundays too.
