DPC for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B for the year 2013-14 & repatriation....an update

All Circle Secretaries and CHQ Office Bearers are requested to ensure the submission of requisite information of their Circles to Directorate through email on dopspg@gmail.com today itself.

Position of Odisha Circle:- Odisha Circle has submitted the report today itself through e-mail vide Circle Office Letter No. ST/2-4(1)/2013 dated 17-9-2013 which is as below:-       

(i)   Sanctioned Strength in PS Gr-B cadre –30(Thirty)

(ii) Number of Regular PS Gr-B officers(including those who are officiating in JTS Group-A) presently working in the Circle- 26(Twenty six)

(iii)           Vacancy position in PS Gr-B cadre: 04(Four)

(a)As on 01-10-13- Four  (b)As on 01-11-13- Four(c)As on 01-12-13- Four

(iv) Number of PS Gr-B officers(with name) of the Circle who are working in other Circles and waiting for their re-allotment to the Circle.

            Further, due to non-posting of technical officers against three technical posts in the Circle i.e two posts of Deputy  Managers in Postal Printing Press, Bhubaneswar & Asst. Director(Bldg), Circle Office  for long periods, those posts have to be managed by posting of PS Gr-B officers  constantly resulting in high number of ad-hoc officiating in PS Gr-B cadre. As such, allotment of at least three more PS Gr-B officers working in other Circles  can be considered over and above against existing four vacancies to this Circle to man the said vacancies and to be adjusted in future vacancies in coming year arising on promotion to JTS and retirement.
