Sub:- Request for sanction of Honorarium due to Inquiry Officers (IO) / Presenting Officers (PO) for conducting Departmental Inquiries.       

Respected Sir,

          A kind reference is invited to Directorate Letter No.C-32016/12/2011 dated 8.1.2013 wherein Department of Personnel & Training Office Memorandum No.142/15/2010-AVD-I dated 31^st July, 2012 regarding grant of Honorarium to Inquiry Officers (IO) / Presenting Officers (PO) for conducting Departmental Inquiries is circulated.

          It has come to the notice of this Association that Honorarium due to Inquiry Officers (IO) / Presenting Officers (PO) particularly to serving part time officers for conducting Departmental Inquiries is not being sanctioned expeditiously. The cases of (1) Shri Ajaya Ku. Swain, ASP(OD), Mayurbhanj Division, (2) Shri K.C. Chinara, Offtg SPOs, Bhadrak Division, Bhadrak, (3) Shri Debi Prasad Nayak, ASP(Vig), CO, Bhubaneswar and (4) Shri Dillip Ku. Samal, Offtg AD(FS), CO, Bhubaneswar are cited as examples.

I, on behalf of this Association request your good self to look into the matter so that the Honorarium due to Inquiry Officers (IO) / Presenting Officers (PO) particularly to serving part time officers for conducting Departmental Inquiries is paid to them without any further delay.
