Sub:- Adhoc promotion of IPs to ASP Cadre and posting thereof.

Respected Sir,

This is regarding promotion of IPs to ASP Cadre  purely on temporary and adhoc basis and allotment of  Regions  made vide C.O. Memo No.ST/24-15(3)/2012 dated 2/7/2012. 

In the said memo, the principle of seniority has not been followed in allotment of the IPs, promoted to ASP Cadre purely on temporary and adhoc basis, in the same region(s) for posting which is the normal practice and expectation.

In this connection it is to mention that there were seven vacant posts in Head Quarter Region against which all the IPs of Head Quarter Region , promoted to ASP Cadre purely on temporary and adhoc basis, could have been easily adjusted. But, two of them have been allotted to Sambalpur Region which is against the principle of practice being followed since long.

Therefore, this association requests you to look into the matter and consider the same favourably.
