The
following decisions were taken in the CWC meeting held on 01.05.2011 at
Bhubaneswar:
1. CHQ will be urged upon to pursue the issue of
upgradation of GP of IPs with Directorate for submission of required proposal to
MOF supported by suitable decision of the Postal Services Board.
2. In the event of strike by JCA being materialized in
July 2011, AIAIASP, Odisha Circle Branch will extend its moral support to the
strike. No member will perform any work which is not in accordance with the
dignity of the post of IP cadre. CHQ’s decision, if any, in the matter will be
followed.
3. General Body meeting and Circle Conference of the
Association to elect a new body of office-bearers and CWC members will be held on 27-28 August 2011.
4. Sri P N Pattanayak, ASP I/c, Cuttack East Sub-Division
and Sri Debi Prasad Nayak, ASP (Vig), CO, Bhubaneswar are nominated as the
Chairman and the Secretary of the Reception Committee respectively for the Circle
Conference to be held in August 2011. Sri Tapas Kumar Dash, ASP(PG), CO,
Bhubaneswar and Sri Pitabasa Jena, Manager (Project Arrow) are nominated as
members of Reception Committee.
5. Individual donation of Rs.500/- will be raised from
each member of the Association to meet the expenses of General Body meeting /
Circle Conference.
6. During four-monthly meeting with the Association held
on 26.04.2011, Chief PMG remarked that there will be more harassments to IP
cadre officials. She made such remark when Circle Secretary pointed out during
the discussion in the meeting that IPs/ASPs are facing harassment of being
imposed with the burden of avoidable extra work load as the vacant posts of
ASPs and IPs are allowed to continue for indefinite period without any ad hoc arrangement. The CWC passed a resolution condemning the statement and
attitude of the Head of the Circle towards IP cadre officials. It was decided
to inform Chief PMG of the resolution of the CWC, with copy to CHQ to take up the matter
at Dte / Ministry level.
