Sri Ajay Kumar Patra (born on 03.04.1964), IP Cuttack North Sub-Division under Cuttack City Division passed away on 02.08.2010 night. Sri Patra had histrory of prolonged illness from blood cancer. Some months ago he received indoor medical treatment in Kalinga Hospital Limited, Bhubaneswar. He responded to treatment and was discharged from the Hospital. He even resumed his duty some days after he was discharged from the Hospital. On 02.08.2010 he was brought to SCB Medical College & Hospital in a very critical condition. This time luck was not in his side.
It is to mention here that Orissa Circle Branch Association had raised some funds to assist Sri Patra in his medical treatment. An amount of Rs.33252/- collected from donors was paid to him already.
Sri Patra is survived by his wife, one son (studying at the undergraduate level) and one daughter (studying at High School level).
Orissa Circle Branch of AIAIASP mourns the sad demise of Sri Patra and expresses deep condolence to the bereaved family. May the departed soul rest in peace in heavenly abode.
