Sub:- Request for raising the limit of the cost of Brief Case for supply to all IPs/ASPs and other touring officers.    

Respected Sir,

Presently each Inspectorial Staff of the Circle is supplied with a Brief Case within a cost of Rs.2,000/- once in four years for use in connection with official duties. The cost limit for the Brief Case was last revised vide Circle Office Memo No. STY/1-1/97-98 (Brief Case) dated 26/02/2009.

Due to sharp rise in the prices of Brief Cases the cost limit of Rs.2,000/- for reimbursement towards purchase of brief case is too little, and therefore, this Association feels that there is urgent need of revision of the limit of the cost of Brief Case for supply to all IPs/ASPs and other touring officers.  

I, on behalf of this Association request your good self  for kind consideration the revision of the limit of the cost of Brief Case for supply to all IPs/ASPs  to Rs.4,000/- and periodicity of supply to once in three years in place of once in four years.
