CS, AIAIASP, Orissa is receiving a number of telephonic queries from surplus IP candidates of IP Exam 2008 about the updated position about their allotment.

It is learnt from the GS, CHQ that the allotment orders are expected to be released by Directorate within a day or two.

What happened to the GP upgradation of IPs ? What happened to the proposal sent by the association for merger of IP/ASP cadre? Why is the CHQ GS silent on this? Is he at all in favour of GP upgradation of Ips? Even stenos are proposed to get starting GP of 4200! IPs seem to be the hapless lot of this department!

As learnt from the GS,AIAIASP, CHQ the proposal for upgradation of GP of IPs is at the state of examination by JS & FA, Posdtal Directorate. The proposal will be discussed in the ensuing meeting in the Postal Services Board and with Board's approval will be sent to MOF. The time line is not known.
In this connection the posting in the blog of IRM/ASRM Association is worth mentioning. The following link may be followed to view the posting.

Dear GS, thanks for this information. Please let us know the dates of the postal board meeting and also kindly let us know the decisions in that meeting once it is over. All IPs are anxiously waiting to get their GP at par with CBDT/CBEC inspectors, put an end to this humiliation of getting lesser pay even though recruited through same examination and get justice.
