every year is celebrated as Utkal Divas by all Oriyas (Odias) all over the
world. In 1936, on this day Odisha became a Swatantra Pradesh.

Sir,
I do not think there is any necessity to write "Oriyas (Odias)". Since, the name of our state has already been approved as ODISHA and the people of the state as ODIA by the Hon'ble President of India, we need not describe/explain everybody what is 'Odisha and what is 'Odia' to the rest of India and world. No Tamil is explaining that Chennai is Madras or no Bengali is saying that Kolkata is for Calcutta.

But how could we Odias justify our emotional expressions by taking cue from others ? By heart we should be ODIA.
