R S Natarajamurthy committee has submitted its report on revision of TRCA of GDS.

The Commitee has recommended computerisation of BOs and provision of computers to all Sub-divisional Heads. It has also recommended providing One Asst. Inspector of Clerical rank. Till such arrangement is made, it has been recommended to post competent /qualified officials to work as Mail Overseers with new role as Rural Postal Supervisor.
Recruitment to GDS posts is recommended to be made through a Committee at Divisional level.
