NEW DELHI: A large number of candidates who were due to appear for an exam for postal department jobs on Sunday allege that the authorities of the school where the exam was being held, didn't let them in to write the exam, despite reaching there on time.
"There are over a 100 of us standing outside," says Manjit, a farmer who had travelled from Jind, Haryana, for the test, "I reached by 9:30 am but wasn't allowed in. Many candidates are from out of town and most trains are running late these days because of the weather." The directorate of education, whose teachers were responsible for conducting the exams, however, denies that the principal shut doors before time.
