Sri R N Dhal, Circle Secretary, All India RMS and MMS Employees Union - Gr.C, Odisha Circle Branch and Sri H K Mohanty, All India RMS and MMS Employees Union - Mail Guard and MTS, Odisha Circle Branch have started indefinite hunger strike w.e.f 08.06.2011 in front of Circle Office, Bhubaneswar protesting against, among other things, shifting of MMS establishment from RMS 'N' Division to Postal Division, downgradation of Class-I post of Divisional Head of RMS 'N' Division to Class-II post and filling up of accounts line supervisor post by non-accounts back-ground officials.
