It is learnt that up-gradation of Grade Pay of Inspector Posts from Rs. 4200/- to Rs. 4600/- file is returned by Ministry of Finance to DOP with query. The representative of Department of Posts is likely to meet the concerned officer of MOF in this week for detailed discussion in the matter.

Please intimate what query has been put up by MOF to DOP. Please give updates regularly as this update is given after a very long interval.

I have a discussion with the GS on this issue on today evening. Apparently, the MOF has returned the file with negative remark and raised some querries on GP of ASPs. As per the GS, one Officer from Directorate is likely to meet his counterpart in MOF non-officially to discuss the issue.
