A committee has been constituted by Department of Posts to examine the issue of cadre restructuring of Group 'C' Postal employees (other than Accounts Cadres). The Committee will submit its report within three months. This is in compliance with the assurance given by the Department to JCA as per their demands in the strike notice.
The Committee has no representation from IP /ASP Cadre. Orissa Circle Branch of AIAIASP has requested CHQ to write to Secretary (Posts) to take AIAIASP into confidence if any decision is taken affecting the interest of IP cadre.
