About Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology(CEPT), Mysore

The Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology (CEPT), Mysore will discharge the following functions:

·         Provide advice and support to the Department on Technology related issues.

·         Develop, upgrade and maintain software patches, Data Extraction Tools etc. to meet the operational needs of the Department.

·         Install and test computing Equipment including Nodes, Servers,  hand-held devices, Franking Machines etc.

·         Manage and maintain the Data Centre of the Department.

·         Manage and upgrade the electronic network of the Department including all Central Server based applications as well as supervision over networking of operative and administrative offices of the Department.

·         Develop and implement training modules relating to software deployed by the Department.

·         Support Human Resource Development relating to lT skills.

·         Perform any other function assigned by the Department.
